v0.30.1

v0.30.1 was released on 2026-11-03. This release adds installation from official plugin pages, simplifies cloud backup sign-in, and changes the default Windows graphics backend.

Added

#TypeChange
1AddedWith Windows Explorer integration enabled, applications such as IDM that use the system open-and-select operation locate files in tessoa. Direct calls to explorer.exe /select still open File Explorer.
2AddedSet the sync password on the web approval page when first enabling cloud backup. Sign-in no longer requires entering it again unless key transfer is skipped or fails.
3AddedOfficial plugin pages can open tessoa with an installation confirmation, which waits if another confirmation is open. Finder on macOS can list tessoa in the Open With menu for folders.

Improved

#TypeChange
4ImprovedAutomatic graphics backend selection on Windows now tries Direct3D 11, DirectX 12, then OpenGL. This applies after upgrading; explicit selections remain unchanged. Select DirectX 12 and restart to restore the previous backend.
5ImprovedReduces idle and background memory use. Some memory is returned to the system after all windows have been hidden for 5 seconds. Improves Windows startup and fixes occasional delays of about half a second before the window appears.
6ImprovedWindows context menu extensions that time out automatically reload on each use and recover after 3 successful loads. Expand the timeout message to change the loading mode or disable the extension.

Fixed

#TypeChange
7FixedFixes cloud drives showing generic application icons when their icon files are missing. A cloud icon is used if no usable icon is available.
8FixedFixes shortcut arrows remaining on small icons after arrows are disabled.
9FixedFixes the interface freezing for about 20 seconds when a plugin requires a missing runtime library.
